In this video, Dan Parton interviews Marie Walsh and Geraldine Cregg, co-authors of Personal Development, Relationships and Staying Safe.

This training resource is aimed at keyworkers working with people with severe, profound, or complex needs. It consists of four modules, addressing self-image and identity, relationships, sexual expression, and staying safe, and uses a workshop-based approach to create a safe space in which training participants can explore these issues.

In the interview, Walsh and Cregg explain the risks that the training addresses and the approach the training takes, and discuss the reasons why the material covered is often new ground for even very experienced staff.
