As the ten year National Service Frameworks for mental health draw to an end, and the New Horizons consultation is published at the end of this year, the mental health sector faces changes in strategy and delivery.
Mental Health Today offers a platform for debate and sharing of knowledge and innovation, to explore the future direction of mental health.
For this year’s event Pavilion have worked closely with the National Mental Health Development Unit, as event partners, to develop the programme.
Mental Health Today London 2009 will explore putting national policy into local practice across the whole sector, from commissioners, service providers to people using services, so is a very relevant event for all people working within mental health
The Programme
As event partners, the National Mental Health Development Unit has worked closely with Pavilion and the sponsors, to create a programme which facilitates discussion and relationship-building across the sector.
Exhibition
An exhibition of 50 trade stands from organisations, projects and suppliers working across mental health.
Seminars
A series of seminars covering all aspects of mental health policy, practice and experience of using services, run throughout the day. We will regularly update this website with the conference programme, so keep checking. Please note: the seminars cannot be pre-booked and are in a first-come, first-served basis.
Zones
Informal and interactive zones where you can participate in a range of projects, workshops, and activities, showcasing innovative practice.
