It really makes a difference.

Music Gym

Decoda will be demonstrating some of the technology and methodology of the Music Gym/Decodamaze.
It sounds serious but the result is a lot of fun.

Art Zone

Action Space, London’s leading visual arts organisation for people with learning disabilities.

Meet Lester Magoogan and experience his world.

Film Zone

Films from the recent Oska Bright Film Festival will be showing from 10.00am throughout the day, as well as episodes of The Specials and a documentary about Lester Magoogan.

Coast to Coast Learning Zone

Meet and work with professional actors from Subject2Change performances taking place throughout the day.

Transition Zone

Let us take the stress out of transition. Take just a few minutes out of your day and indulge in a facial or manicure, or even try out an Indian head massage.

Sports Zone

Sport is a great way to stay healthy and meet people in your community. Learn more about the organisations that can help you on your way to taking part in lots of fun activities here.

Media Zone

Interviews will be taking place throughout the day.

Attending can count towards your CPD programme

Professionals working within the social care sector are required to undertake Continuous Professional Development (CPD) by the General Social Care Council (GSCC). The seminar programme is CPD certified so visitors can gain points from attending.

Accessibility

We aim to make Learning Disability Today an accessible event. If you have any access needs do let us know when you book.

The Business Design Centre is fully accessible to wheelchair users. There are lifts to the exhibition hall, seminar rooms and zones. You can find a lift outside each end of the exhibition hall. Space is available for wheelchair users in all seminar rooms.

Sign language interpreters/loop system are available – if you need a sign language interpreter during the day, please request one at the information point located in the exhibition hall. All the seminar rooms are fitted with an induction loop.
