How to get to the venue


This year's Learning Disability Today is at Manchester Central, Petersfield, Manchester M2 3GX



  • Parking: Manchester Central has a large car park directly beneath the venue, providing easy access to the venue for all visitors. Managed by NCP, the car park is open 24 hours a day.

  • By road: Once on the M60, exit at Junction 12 and join the M602 signposted towards the city centre. Follow the A57 straight on from the end of the M602 passing under a railway bridge before taking the left hand exit to merge into the A56 Bridgewater Way. Turn right onto Whitworth Street West at Deansgate station and then turn left onto Albion Street. The entrance to Manchester Central car park is through the next set of traffic lights on the left, opposite Bridgewater Hall.

  • By train: Piccadilly and Victoria train stations are a 20 minute walk. Oxford Road train station is ten minutes walk away, and Deansgate train station is just two minutes walk away.

Accessibility

Learning Disability Today is fully accessible to wheelchair users. There are lifts to the exhibition hall, seminar rooms and zones. You can find a lift outside each end of the exhibition hall. Space is available for wheelchair users in all seminar rooms


Sign language interpreters/loop systems are available – if you need a sign language interpreter during the day, please request one at the information point located in the exhibition hall. All the seminar rooms are fitted with an induction loop.
