It’s important to remember that seminars are filled on a first-come, first-served basis and some sessions will be over subscribed. So arrive early to avoid disappointment.

3. The zones
One of the most popular features is the ‘zones', which offer visitors a vast array of free activities, helpful advice, and fun events. This year the zones include:

The training and development zone
Offering participants the opportunity to access the latest information surrounding support for people with learning disabilities and training for those that work in the field.


Relaxation zone
Allowing you to get away from the crowds and unwind, de-stress and relax with the help of our trained massage therapists.


Health zone
Put on your apron, fire up the grill and head on over to the health zone for resources, advice and support on healthy eating and physical activity. With demonstrations and hands-on experience, you'll get some professional tips on healthy eating and lots more.


Media zone
Providing budding radio and television presenters the opportunity to practise their skills. The zone will include the opportunity to take part in practice radio interviews and meet some special guests.


Technology zone
Showcasing the latest computer technology available to people with learning disabilities and a great opportunity to have hands-on experience of using new and exciting online projects.

New this year – A SMART HOUSE Experience how assistive technology can aid independent living.


Arts and performance zone
A full programme of DJs, dance, theatre and live music. Near the performance stage is the visual art display where you can browse the many masterpieces created especially for Learning Disability Today London.


Children's zone
The zone will feature exhibitors from the children's sector. Seminar themes will pick up on the main themes including: transition, short breaks, rights to participation and direct payments/individual budgets.
