Aims of the conference

The conference aims to showcase innovations in the field and build connections for all those who use the arts to promote well-being in the southeast of England. It will be an opportunity to hear from art therapists, community arts providers and arts in health workers. It will provide:

  • an increased understanding of contemporary practice
  • examples of how innovative partnership working makes a difference
  • an opportunity to be involved in group discussions
  • models for really taking forward the arts as a means of promoting recovery and social inclusion.
