Since the early 1990s the PAS-ADD tools have been increasingly used for the assessment of mental health problems in adults with intellectual disability (ID), and are now widely used throughout the world.
The Mini PAS-ADD system is a set of set of assessment tools for undertaking mental health assessments with people with learning disabilities. It is designed to provide a smooth, reliable flow of information on psychiatric symptoms from all those involved in an individual’s care, including family members, support staff and care staff.
Developed especialy for the pack, the handbook contains a new semi-structured interview and improved clinical glossary, which can be used to collect symptom information directly from an informant. The handbook also includes an outline training plan and coding exercises, together with essential background information.
