We have teamed up with Stars in the Sky to call for more action to tackle rising levels of isolation and loneliness as more and more individuals move into independent living..
We want to see more areas setting up friendship and dating agencies so that people can get out there, meet new people and have a social life.

We always welcome ideas and contributions for Learning Disability Today. While we try not to be too rigid about what we expect from contributors, we do ask you follow a few guidelines when submitting an article to us. First, please have a look at previous issues to get a feel for the various sections and our style. Make it clear what section you think the piece is for.
It is always advisable to contact us before writing an article, to make sure we are potentially interested in the idea. When submitting an article, please send it as a Word document, by email, to dan.parton@pavilion-interactive.co.uk
