Public Security is the official journal of The Association of Police and Public Security Suppliers (APPSS), the trade body representing the UK's public security supply industry and is a non-profit making trade association which exists to serve UK companies whose business is manufacturing equipment and supplying services, including training and consultancy, to public (government) security agencies world-wide. This includes police, prisons, customs, immigration, fire and all Government security agencies including those of the defence ministries and military services.
Public Security is read by a unique audience of over 60,000 a unique audience of Chief Officers, Procurement Officers, Technical Officers and other key officials in the Police, Customs, Coastguard, Fire service, Prison services, Aviation Security, Maritime & EEZ security, Immigration, Civil Defence and other Law Enforcement & Public Security organisations. The readership is both UK and international.
